It is true that the commitment and flourishing within marriages seems to have somewhat lost its ‘cement’ with the generations that have come after…what is beautiful however is that I come across more and more ‘younger’ souls, with a willingness and passion to embrace what was and make it ‘what is’… In my 11th year of marriage, still holding hands and embracing with the affection of a fledgling relationship – I feel so blessed – as are you…Congratulations on your recent milestone and blessings for the many more years of togetherness to come.

i definitely think so. we don’t want to work for it. and we tend to look at what other people have and think that they are just lucky, when, in fact, there is a lot of sacrifice and commitment behind all the smiles. i think its true for relationships and for work/career too.

I read somewhere that in today’s ‘generation’ we want things instantly, and we don’t seem to have the patience or time to wait and work on our relationships – we want the happily ever after, but we want it now. Is there some truth to that?
